JW "Jingle Bell on the Rocks"
Johnnie Walker wanted to do something sticky and festive around the holidays to promote their Blue Label variant. Thought it'd be kinda cool to remake a classic song using nothing but bottle sounds as the beat. We had One Thousand Birds create a library of about 500 unique sounds as a sample pack we gave to R&B musician Kilo Kish and her acclaimed producer. The result is this Jingle Bells cover song which is, warning, a bit of an ear worm.
Apologies are also in order to OTB who now has a studio that smells like scotch after committing to recording a bottle break sound.
